![]() ![]() Insert the latch on the top of the handle into the assembly hole on the bottom of the control box.(The search coil should be parallel with the ground.) Tighten the knobs just enough to keep the search coil from rotating or wobbling. Loosen the knobs at the search coil’s end, then adjust the search coil to desired angle.Then turn the stem’s lock mut counter-clockwise to lock it in place.Lengthen or shorten the stem so when you stand upright with the detector in your hand, the search coil is level with and about one half to 2 inches above the ground with your arm relaxed at your side. Turn the stem’s locknut clockwise until it loosens.Sheathe the lower stem on S stem and secure with the fixing knob.Insert the coil cable plug into the 5-pin jack connected with S stem.Waterproof Search Coil: lets you use the detector even if you must put it under water.Īssembling your detector is easy and requires no special tools.
